COMMANDER Air Force of Zimbabwe Air Marshal John Jacob Nzvede will today officiate at the groundbreaking ceremony of the construction of Malibeng Clinic in Beitbridge.

This is this year’s AFZ community assistance star project, which is running under the theme: “Guaranteeing peace and stability for the attainment of Vision 2030.”

Malibeng community has assembled all required resources, while the AFZ will provide skilled artisans as part of the Zimbabwe Defence Forces’ constitutional mandate of aiding civil ministries and communities during peacetime.

Following the groundbreaking ceremony, AFZ will also hold a medical outreach at the Malibeng clinic site.

This follows other milestones recorded this year, which include the handover of an early childhood development block at Gillingham Primary School in Dzivaresekwa by Deputy Minister of Defence Brigadier General Retired Levy Mayhlome on Tuesday and the handover of an eight-classroom double-storey block at Warren Park Six Primary School on Wednesday.

Minister of Defence, Oppah Muchinguri-Kashiri, is also expected to hand over a girls dormitory at Nhowe Mission High School, Macheke.
