Alcaraz sets up Djokovic clash

Carlos Alacraz set up an ATP Finals last-four showdown with Novak Djokovic after beating Daniil Medvedev 6-4, 6-4 yesterday and topping the Red Group. World No 2 Alcaraz needed to win to ensure a spot in the last four on his debut appearance at the season-ending tournament. And he did just that in impressive fashion against Medvedev, cruising to a straight-sets victory which ensured him first place regardless of what happened in last night’s match between Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev. — SuperSport
