Sungura legend Alick Macheso, dancehall star Jah Master, and rhumba outfit Insimbi ZeZhwane are set to electrify fans in Bulawayo and Beitbridge this weekend.

Macheso, popularly known as Cheso Power, is returning to Matabeleland with a two-show tour.

The tour will kick off at Palace Hotel in Bulawayo on May 2, where Macheso will share the stage with Insimbi ZeZhwane. On the decks will be DJ SKB, DJ Keitho, DJ Ayaxx, and DJ Flexxy.

On May 3, the action moves to Pagomba Café in Beitbridge, where Macheso will be joined by Jah Master, E Tumbane, and The Fugees Band. DJs Vic Gee, Keitho, Ayaxx, and MC Kay One will keep the crowd hyped throughout the night.

Speaking ahead of the shows, Palace Entertainment publicist DJ Keitho said they are reviving their live music calendar with a focus on diversity and energy.
“It’s been a while since we gave our Bulawayo clientele something to look forward to. We’re bringing artistes from various genres to ensure everyone has a good time and starts May in style,” he said. – @mthabisi_mthire
