ALL is set for the Zifa Bulawayo Area Zone Soccer League 65th Townshend and Butcher Trophy final set for Barbourfields grounds this morning.

Titans will clash with LA Protons for the big prize in one of the oldest cup competitions in local football. A total of ten teams went into the hat when the tournament started last month. Other teams were Unity Village, Mpilo United, Nga Chronicle,

The annual event’s sponsor, Peter Leondios, said his company was delighted to be sponsoring a historic 65th instalment of this tournament.

“While the tournament provides a great platform to develop our youth in the sport of football, it is also exciting that from this competition projects that will sustain soccer will be built and have been built over the years. Part of the role of this tournament is to identify talent and streamline it towards the professional ranks,” said Leondios.
