All set for Children’s Party – First Family to host over 3000 children

All is set for President Mnangagwa and First Lady Amai Auxillia Mnangagwa to host 3 050 child delegates at the Children’s Party to be held at Nyamuroro High School today.

The Children’s Party precedes the 45th Independence Celebrations that are set to be held at Nembudziya Growth Point Open Ground Venue tomorrow.

This year’s Uhuru celebrations are running under the theme, “Zim@ 45: Devolve and Develop Together Towards Vision 2030,” which underlines the Second Republic’s commitment to fostering inclusive national development through devolution.

This year’s commemorations are being held in Gokwe North, Midlands, in line with the Government’s policy of rotating national events across the country’s provinces.

About 60 000 people from across the country are expected to converge for the main celebrations tomorrow.
