All is set for the inaugural ‘Father, Daughter dance’ event scheduled for Crown Plaza Monomotapa Hotel tomorrow evening.

The event which is an initiative of Four Faces Holiday Club is aimed at improving relationship between fathers and their daughters.

In an interview with Herald Insight, one of the organizers, Sean Mbeulani said the event will have a dinner apart from dance and motivational sessions.

“Guest are expected to fork out $80 as there is a full course dinner to be served. We also have special guests who will present topics that will touch on father and daughter relationship. Some of the speakers include an official from Ministry of Women Affairs, Gender and Community Development, Ernest Chimbodza,” he said.

Mbeulani said the event will also position fathers not only to be feared but regarded as role models and respected personalities in the society.

“The event is meant to provide a platform for daughters of all age groups to spend quality time and bond with their fathers or the father figures in their lives. A father should play an active role and be supportive of his daughter’s goals and ambitions,” he said.
