ALL is set for the much-anticipated Ladies’ Sundowner Picnic, one of the month’s standout gatherings promising an afternoon of reconnection, inspiration and empowerment.

The country’s largest integrated media house, Zimpapers through its flagship brands, The Herald and Star FM, is organising the picnic whose thrust is to foster unity among a diverse network of ladies converging on Villa Gianni Boutique Hotel in Avondale on Saturday.

So far, the event, that will be held under the theme, “Creating Generational Wealth”, has drawn significant attention from seasoned business leaders to emerging start-ups — in a celebration of entrepreneurship, collaboration and personal growth.

In an interview yesterday, The Herald Editor Victoria Ruzvidzo said all is set for the upcoming ladies’ event promising an unforgettable experience of elegance, empowerment and entertainment.

“We are delighted by the overwhelming response. Everything is in place — from the décor and curated picnic setups to our line-up of inspirational speakers that include Dr Divine Ndhlukula, Dr Chipo Mutasa, Mrs Sibyl Madzikanda, Mrs Grace Musandirire, Ms Beauty Jiji and Ms Rachel Chibaya,” she said. At least 100 women are expected to grace the event.

It is hoped that the speakers at the picnic would indelibly deliver impactful presentations touching various topics and unfiltered stories from their entrepreneurial journeys, offering attendees valuable insights into the highs and lows of business leadership.
