SUNGURA ace Alick Macheso is this morning scheduled to stage a free gig in the Africa Unity Square as part of giving back to his loyal fans ahead of the forthcoming Easter holidays.

Speaking from his Chitungwiza base yesterday, the Orchestra Mberikwazvo front-man said all was in place for the show where lucky attendees will walk away with an array of prizes.

“This is a special gift for the people of Zimbabwe who have supported us all these years. We promise them a memorable gig where we will sample some of our new songs and showcase our latest dance routines,” he said.

The singer’s trusted lieutenant Jonasi Kasamba could not hide his excitement ahead of the show. “We are inviting people to come in large numbers for this exciting show where we will play music non-stop for three hours as we will be dishing out prizes to lucky fans. It’s just a show not to be missed,” Kasamba said.
