All is set for gospel musician Mathias Mhere’s birthday celebrations scheduled for Kingston’s House in the capital on Sunday.
The musician is celebrating his 27th birthday.
Top musicians Jah Prayzah, Sabastian Magacha, Zim Praise among others are set to perform.
Mhere said preparations are at an advanced stage and promised a show to remember.
“I am very happy that everything is going according to plan. All the performing artistes have confirmed their participation and we are just waiting for the big day,
“We are encouraging people to come in their numbers since it is a family day, everyone is welcome to celebrate with us,” he said.
Sabastian Magacha said he is ready for the show and he promised fireworks saying he will also be performing with his new gospel group, the African Joy on the day.
“We have been rehearsing for this day as we will be celebrating with a brother and colleague in the industry. To me Mathias is a young brother and friend and I am very happy to be celebrating his birthday with him.
“I am going to be performing some of my hits including ‘1+1’ and also I am going to be performing with my group African Joy. It is a pan African gospel group that sing in different languages and on Sunday we are going to perform some songs in Lingala, a language from DRC and are also going to have some Nigerian medleys,” said Magacha.
