Motor Action Sports Club will host the biggest Christian community football match this Sunday.

The HCSL PANJAP tourney will be closing its curtains with two blockbuster matches scheduled for the day.

JCC will play AFMZ in the final while Mt Hope will battle it out against NLCC for a third and fourth place spot.

The third tier match will have an early kick off before the main match of the day that commences at 15:40 hrs.

The tournament, which is a mouthpiece against drug abuse and criminal activities amongst the youths and all community members, will also be attended by representatives of the principal sponsor PANJAP MOTORS led by their founder Brighton Ushendibaba.

AFMZ coach ‘Sir’ Max Machowani said they are underdogs going into this match but they have a way to neutralise their opponents.

“They will come guns blazing for us from the first minute. We know we are carrying the underdog tag and they are the favourites going into this match but we have a game plan going into this match,” he said.

Sir Max

“We are looking forward to utilise the spaces they leave behind and hit them on the counter. We have speed wingers in Shelton”Killi Killi” Mushangidze and Brendon Chiyangwa and our striker Malcon Savanhu.

“We will use a double defensive to neutralise their linkmen who can pose a threat to us. We know they have lot of experience in that field with former PSL players turning for them. We are not going to man mark anyone but we will play our normal game,” he said.

JCC head coach Never Muparutsa said they are going to play like champions and get the job done

“We are the champions so I am expecting my guys to play like Champions. The boys are playing to honour me their bishop as a token of appreciation as I have already honoured them in giving them their bonuses for winning the league,” he said.
