ST GEORGE’S College will be out to defend their title when they return to the 2017 St John’s College Rams T20 Cricket tournament in Harare this weekend.

Intense competition is expected after some of the country’s best cricketing schools and two visiting schools from South Africa confirmed their participation. Organisers said several schools, who include hosts St John’s College, defending champions St George’s College, Peterhouse, Prince Edward, Churchill, Falcon College, Durban’s Clifton College and Bloemfontein St Andrews School are all part of the festival.

St George’s College are one of the teams to beat following their brilliant run last year on their way to being crowned champions. The Saints featured in a cracking battle in the final against Clifton School from Durban, South Africa, which they went on to win by five wickets. Health International and Bon Marche are the sponsors of the tournament.
