The city will be abuzz on July 4 with some of Mzansi’s hottest celebrities pulling out all the stops at one of the biggest horse racing events of the year.
One of the most popular spots at Greyville Racecourse is the Afrotainment marquee hosted by DJ Tira. The businessman and hit-maker has promised to set the fashion and music world on fire.
Mafikizolo’s first lady Nhlanhla Nciza will also be showcasing her clothing label. And Black Coffee, Tbo Touch, Bucie, Xoli M, Naima Kay, Big Nuz, Duncan, Dreamteam, NaakMusiQ, DJ Tira, VJ Nutty and DJ Fisherman will do their bit to entertain the crowd.
Speaking to SunBuzz, DJ Tira said: “We’ve been hosting the Afrotainment marquee for the past few years and we make it bigger and better each time. This year will be no different.
“We’ve food, drinks and all-star entertainment lined up for the guests.
“We’ll heat things up with the Fact Durban Rocks event which will take us into the next night. To avoid disappointment I urge people to get their tickets early for a beautiful day and night.”
The fun does not end there as it continues at the annual Fact Durban Rocks party at the People’s Park at Moses Mabhida Stadium featuring the cream of Mzansi entertainment on three dancefloors including Black Motion, Donald, Cassper Nyovest, AKA, KO, Riky Rick and Mafikizolo among others.
