All set for Women in Enterprise conference

The Zimbabwe National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC)’s sixth edition of the Women in Enterprise Conference and Awards (Weca) will take place in Harare on Thursday, amid growing calls to include women in all sectors of the economy.

The conference, which will run under the theme “Growing women entrepreneurs for sustainable enterprises and beyond Zimbabwe’s new horizons”, will look at various issues that include connecting women business enterprises to corporate chains, how to tap into regional and international markets, climbing the corporate ladder- balancing work and home life.

President Mnangagwa is expected to officiate at the conference.

During the one-day event, several key speakers among them well-known founder and managing director of Business Financial Solutions Namibia Ms Kauna Ndilula and Ms Mary Madzima who is the managing director of Navidale Textiles are expected to share their experiences on the trials and tribulations of entrepreneurship.
