Alliance hosts art-scape experience

Alliance Francaise is the place to be this Saturday for those who love art and fashion as the venue is hosting the art-scape experience, a blend of art, fashion, and music.

Guillaume Ripaud, Alliance Française de Bulawayo director said Israel, a musician at Alliance, is the one who came up with the idea of the event.

“We decided to run with the idea and create a platform for up-and-coming artistes who do not have so much visibility.

“We decided to mix all genres from visual arts, fashion and music.

“The event is about giving platforms to aspiring artistes and showing people what the Bulawayo scene (art) is made of,” Ripaud said.

“The event is important to us as it shows us that artists are willing to contact, create and partner with us,” he said.

Ripaud said patrons should expect a lot of activities on the day from visual art displays, fashion shows featuring different fashion designers from Bulawayo that Israel selected and performances from artistes who include as Mzistozz, Lynden, and Billius.

No entry fee will be charged at the event. – @TashaMutsiba.
