SOUTH African Amapiano star Musa Keys is finally bringing his beats to Bulawayo, for a show at the Cosmopolitan VIP Club on 17 March.

This will be Musa Keys’ second performance in Matabeleland, following his visit to Victoria Falls last year.

The Kancane hit maker will be supported on decks by Cosmopolitan residential DJs, with other acts set to be unveiled towards the date of the gig.

Ntando Ndlovu, who is Cosmopolitan marketing consultant , said that they are bringing Musa Keys to Bulawayo as a way of paving and introducing their entertainment calendar as the club.

He also said that Musa Keys is the hottest property in the AmaPiano world and the gig will be an opportunity for his local fans to party with the hit maker and create everlasting moments.

“Musa Keys is one of the artistes who had the hottest songs last year and they still ushered us into the New Year. Even to date the songs are still rocking. With that in mind, we saw it fit to bring him to Bulawayo for his fans to witness and have fun with the hit-maker in a fitting club.

“Fans have to expect a standard Musa Keys performance. Apart from his skills on the decks, he always challenges himself by interacting and dancing more with the audience, something that I am sure fans will enjoy,” said Ndlovu.

Lately, local night clubs have been suffering heavy losses as most people were not frequenting venues and shows in the first two months of the year, owing to the economic crisis.

However, with this event Ndlovu said it is expected to attract massive people as they introduce their yearly entertainment calendar.

“We haven’t been as active as Cosmopolitan this year because we have been reading the room. If you look at promoters who held gigs in January and even February, the events did not prove to be wise investments as the first two months of the year are tough.

“Even the numbers of our clientele was not much of the usual statistics we know and this is the result of the current economic situation.

“But now the year is starting to shape up and opportunities are opening. This particular gig is expected to attract more people as they will be gearing up for the Easter holidays,” said Ndlovu.
