AmaZulu deny links with Ncube move

AMAZULU team manager Japhet Zwane has denied that Highlanders and Warriors utility player Milton Ncube is linked with a move to the Durban side.
Zwane said he was surprised with speculation linking the player to his club.
The AmaZulu official said he did not know about Ncube nor heard about him in the club’s corridors.
Ncube has been linked with moves to Cape Town Ajax, Moroka Swallows and AmaZulu following a decent showing in the Chan tournament in January and February.

Zwane told Chronicle Sport: “There is no foreign player who we have spoken to now or for June. Right  now we are okay with the foreign players we have at AmaZulu.
“We will continue with our captain and goalkeeper Tapuwa Kapini and defender Carlington Nyadombo.”

The Highlanders star and his Warriors teammates were impressive in the tournament.
They went as far as the semi-finals.

Former Warriors striker and AmaZulu assistant coach Wilfred Mugeyi denied any knowledge of interest in the former FC Windermere junior player.
Mugeyi described Ncube as a top class player who could play for any team in South Africa.

Mugeyi said: “Ncube is a quality player who can play well in any team in the Absa Premier Soccer League and is a good reader of the game. He has beautiful passes and any coach would love to have him in his team.”

Meanwhile, AmaZulu captain Kapini believes he still has a lot to offer Zimbabwe football.
He said his experience would be a big boost to the team if he was given a chance to prove his mettle.

“The Warriors have a great coach in Ian Gorowa who is one of the best motivators and tacticians in Zimbabwe and Africa at large.”
