AMAZULU UNVEIL MASON MUSHORE

South Africa Premier Soccer League side, AmaZulu have announced the signing of Mason Mushore on a permanent deal from Highlanders.

Popularly known as Usuthu, AmaZulu underwent a major squad overhaul during the off-season, forcing head coach Arthur Zwane to assemble a youthful team.

Despite that, the KZN-based outfit is still competing as it sits fifth in the Betway Premiership table with 24 points from 14 league outings.

Now, the addition of the 24-year-old defensive midfielder is expected to fill the void left by experienced campaigner Ben Motshwari.

Mushore will join compatriot Thandolwenkosi Ngwenya, who signed for AmaZulu from Zimbabwean club FC Platinum during the off-season.

The midfielder opened up on his move, stating, “I am grateful for the warm welcome I have already received. Today Mr Zungu personally welcomed me and told me that he believes in me and wants me to fight for the team”.

Meanwhile club President Sandile Zungu said, “We welcome Mason to the AmaZulu family and are confident that he will add value and prove himself in our midfield.” Foot Africa.
