HE might be from Victoria Falls but sensational teenage songster, Andrea The Vocalist’s love for Bulawayo is there for all to see.
On Saturday, he devoted his time to crafting visuals for Bekezela in the City of Kings and Queens.
In an interview, his manager, Tendai “TJ” Joe said Andrea The Vocalist deliberately chose Bulawayo.
“Andrea’s love for Bulawayo is open for everyone to see. People are bound to see more and more of these collaborations with artistes and creatives from Bulawayo,” TJ said.
He said they used the video shoot as an opportunity to work with talented learners from Charleston Trust Primary School Choir.
“We also had special guest appearances by children from the Mothers of Special Heroes (MOSH) All Abilities Choir. The idea is to use what we have to show what other creatives are doing.”
The video, shot in and around the city centre, particularly the Centenary Park and the Robert Sinyoka area was directed by Rasquesity Keaitse and buttresses Andrea’s discography involving Bulawayo creatives which includes collaborations with Imbube ensemble, Amaqaqa Acappela.
TJ also mentioned that Andrea The Vocalist will soon release a single featuring a collaboration with gospel songbird Bethany Pasinawako.
