Angolan Ambassador bids farewell to President Mnangagwa

Angolan Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Mr Agostinho Tavares has said under President Mnangagwa’s leadership, Sadc is in safe hands.

The Angolan envoy, who bade farewell to President Mnangagwa at State House this morning following the conclusion of his tenure, reiterated the Sadc chairperson’s capability to lead the bloc.

“Taking into account the experience and pragmatism of His Excellency, Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, Sadc is in good hands,” he said.

During his tenure as Ambassador, Harare and Luanda signed 11 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) last year as relations continued to deepen.

These were in various fields, including agriculture, higher education, justice and housing.
