MUTARE City Council has won the Office of the President and Cabinet’s Special Award for Best Local Authority Innovation in Service Delivery – Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL).
The award was presented to Mutare City Council by Vice President Kumbo Mohadi.
It was received by the deputy director for housing and community development, Mr Nowel Mushangwe during the City at the MEL week held in Masvingo.
After receiving the award, the local authority was also invited by a Tanzanian delegation for a presentation.
