As of 1pm yesterday, SunSport understood Fury, 38, had not enrolled and Joshua, who has been training in Dubai, was considering swerving Wednesday’s launch press conference.
But a source close to Fury’s team claimed tonight that he has signed up and supplied the organisation with a whereabouts from so he can be found and tested at any time.
Fury had a different small print, meaning he was free to go without testing until the fight was officially announced.
The late change in time and venue – from New York’s Madison Square Garden in November, to Cardiff the following month – meant Fury has been able to delay his enrollment.
There has been no suggestion from Hearn or AJ that anything untoward has occurred.
Last week, when Joshua shared an email from the Vada president sent to a member of Team AJ asking why Fury has not following him into the testing pool, he followed it with a picture of long-nosed Disney liar Pinocchio. – The Sun
