HOPES of former Dynamos winger, Bill Antonio featuring for the Warriors this year have ended as the Belgium-based star has suffered a long-term injury.

Antonio had hit top form at Belgian Pro League side KV Mechelen and had been given a senior contract.

However, the club revealed on Tuesday that Antonio suffered a cruciate ligament injury and will miss the rest of the season in Belgium.

Preliminary estimates are that Antonio will miss six to eight months, effectively sidelining him for the remainder of the year.
