Archbishop Guti burial today

Prominent cleric and Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (Zaoga) church founder Archbishop Ezekiel Guti who died on 5 July will be laid to rest in a private ceremony today.

He celebrated his 100th birthday in May this year and was declared a national hero for his work in the church, education and philanthropy by President Mnangagwa.

The body of the late national hero this morning arrived at Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University in Bindura ahead of a private burial at the cathedral today. The late church leader died in South Africa where he was seeking treatment. Zaoga church is now visible worldwide.
