FIRED-UP Bulawayo Metropolitan Province Darts League leaders Archers cruised to a magnificent 33-6 win over Maisonic on Monday evening, sending a strong message to their next opponents Khami who the host at Archers Sports Club tonight.

Archers are the only team in the league with a 100 percent record, having won all their 21 matches.  They enjoy a point lead over second placed Railstars who have played 22 games.

After seeing his players dismantle Maisonic, Archers captain Ernest “Maphepha” Sibanda said Khami should be terrified, promising to bury the prison guards.

Against Maisonic, Archers had three of their players Brian Ndlovu, Benjamin Ncube and Albert Tawanda getting six packs.

“We are just unstoppable and if you look at the way we’re playing we’re not underrating any of our opponents.

“We don’t want anyone standing on our championship way and we are going to crush Khami tomorrow.

“They should be afraid because they’re facing champions in waiting, champions who want to end the season without losing a game,” said Sibanda.

Bornface Maningi and Wilfred Chikakatira are some of the players who will lead Archers’ quest for their 22nd victory of the season.

In other matches, defending champions Railstars will be hoping to bounce back from last week’s 16-23 loss to Archers by beating bottom of the table Parkview Khanka at Parkview Sports Club.

An epic clash is on the cards at the Highlanders Clubhouse where Bosso plays host to Parkview Lions.
