Arenel Movers 2-1 CAPS United
ARENEL Movers came from behind to salvage three points against CAPS United, making it two wins on the trot for the first time since they were promoted into the top flight league.
Goals from skipper Brian Jaravaza and Lucky Nyathi were all that the Sweet Boys needed to overturn William Manondo’s opener.
Manondo opened the scoring for Makepekepe in the 39th minute with a stunning volley from inside the box. A minute later, the hosts were awarded a penalty.
CAPS United shot-stopper Tonderai Mateyaunga brought down a charging Nyathi in the box and Jaravaza stood up to take the responsibility. He made no mistake from the spot to make it one all.
Three minutes into the second half, Nyathi fired home from inside the box after he calmly connected a Timothy January square pass.
The goal which came in the 49th minute was the last one of the match, making sure that Arenel walk away with maximum points on the day.
Early into the start of the game, Arenel had the chance of breaking in front after Dalubuhle Dlodlo was put through on goal. With a glorious opportunity, Dlodlo took his time to shoot and was intercepted by Mateyaunga.
Ten minutes into the game, Gabriel Dlodlo forced a brilliant save from Mateyaunga with a sterling freekick. The CAPS ‘keeper was equal to the task and punched it away to safety.
A minute later, Manondo’s header off an Erick Manokore cross went wide of goal.
In the 22nd minute, Rodwell Chinyengetere got a good chance for CAPS with a freekick in a promising position but his effort was off target.
Seven minutes after CAPS wasted their setpiece, Arenel broke through on a counter attack but failed to utilise their chance.
Against the run of play, Manondo broke the deadlock before his goal was cancelled soon after.

However, CAPS were forced to make a triple substitution as soon as Nyathi put the hosts in front.
In the 54th minute, Aaron Ngwenya made a brilliant save to deny Manondo.
With 10 minutes of play left, Toto Banda found himself unmarked in the box but skied his effort over the bar.
Despite CAPS trying to get the equaliser it would end in favor of Arenel.
