SOUND Track Entertainment, a local music production company in partnership with several up-and-coming artistes, will this Saturday host a fundraising gig for Qinisani Orphanage, which has been adversely affected by donor fatigue.

Qinisani Orphanage, which is in Nkulumane 12, assists orphans and underprivileged children. It is facing financial constraints as most of its donors have pulled out sighting lack of funds, something that has prompted Sound Track Entertainment to chip in.

One of the organisers of the event, Leroy Zulu, said the concert had been dubbed “My purpose, my choice”.

“The main thrust of the show is to raise funds for the orphanage which we noticed is going through a tough time. In the past several donors supported the orphanage financially but things have changed now,” said Zulu.

He said the worst affected were girls who were  struggling to get basics such as food, clothes and even sanitary wear.

The entrance tickets to the show have been pegged at a $1 for adults and 50 cents for children.

Upper Class, Kidnappers, Phantom Gang, Ras Ting, Adem Rizz, Scatter Watta, Shawty P and Fresh Juice are some of the artistes who will perform at the fundraising gig.
