ARTISTS from Mashonaland West have collectively released a song titled “ Icharira Mimhanzi.”
The song is the brainchild of Preacherman.
One of the artists, Prince Nyamadzawo, told H-Metro the track is about the challenges facing the world.
Nyamadzawo said the song was a powerful beacon of hope.
“It beautifully emphasises the importance of cherishing moments and instils the belief that after every struggle, joy and harmony will inevitably follow.
“This track is not just a song, it’s a celebration of life’s rhythms and the healing power of music.”
Nyamadzawo said the track is a product of a collaboration of artists such as Elder Princo, Gyale Kylie, Tally B, Kayskid, Kirma, Feaniq, Suede and YV,
He said the diverse ensemble brought the song to life.
Nyamadzawo said the production was a true community effort, featuring prominent producers like Guns, Terry Da Producer, Elshammah Billions, Cashflow, Mikelah, Professor Vybzer, and RSK.
“Despite facing challenges during the production, ranging from coordinating schedules to harmonising different sounds, the artists emerged stronger and wiser.
“They learned invaluable lessons in humility, unity, friendship, and respect for one another’s talents,” said Nyamadzawo.
He added:
“The West Empire Movement, which is behind this inspiring single, is committed to further collaborations that will uplift each artist’s career.
“We warmly welcome other talented musicians from Mashonaland West to join this thriving community.
“’Icharira Mimhanzi’ is more than just a song, it’s a rallying cry for hope and a testament to the enduring power of music in our lives.”
