Arubi signs for CAPS United

Sports Reporter
VETERAN Warriors goalkeeper Washington Arubi has joined Harare giants CAPS United on a two-year contract.
The former Dynamos and Highlanders shot-stopper was this morning unveiled by club president Farai Jere as the Green Machine’s latest acquisition at a ceremony that was also attended by coach Takesure Chiragwi and other officials.
“The national team goalkeeper Washington Arubi has joined us to assist in the goalkeeping area that was giving us problems. We were almost losing hope because it was derailing our championship aspirations which have now been rekindled. Arubi is now here and we all know his experience because we needed a leader in that position on the field of play,” said Jere.
He added that MaKepeKepe are still gunning for the championship despite their erratic form in the recent past matches.
Jere revealed that another goalkeeper is expected to join the club this afternoon.
