He is a fitter and turner by profession, motivational speaker, philanthropist and life coach.
He reveals what inspired him to write his latest book – ‘Who Does Not Want To Quit School?’
“In my life, l have found out that school is not easy. Waking up each and every morning, doing assignments, coping up with strict lectures, doing many subjects at the same time.
“A lot of people will be thinking that quitting school is a better option.
“At one point in my life. I thought about quitting school.
“I was on the verge of giving up. But, I had to weigh the pros and cons. I strongly believe that life is hard but life is harder when you are not educated.”
He added:
“How can you survive in an informed world with an uninformed mindset? Everything is changing each and every day.
“We are now having online banking applications, self-tailored machines, ATMs, how can you operate them when you are illiterate?
“It is high time for people to take education very seriously because we learn each and everyday. The day you stop learning, this is the day you die.
“You can learn on the internet, buy a magazine, watch videos on YouTube, read books on e-books, listen to podcasts, audio, download applications on your smartphone, among others.
“You do not need to go to university or to wear a uniform. Every information you want is available.
Actually, we are living in an information age.”
Muganu is a multi-award winning Young Entrepreneur and in 2023 he won the Outstanding Balance Author of the Year and this year he scooped the Best Motivational Speaker of the Year award in South Africa.
He said, in this generation, there is no excuse for ignorance but It is by choice.
He said writing a book is a mammoth task.
“The challenges that l faced on this journey of writing was that it was hard to write my books because l was juggling a lot of activities at the same time.
“I overcame this challenge by writing my books at night. My wise words of wisdom, you can be wrong at half-time and still make it in life.
“It is never too late to work on your intellectual faculty. Start now.
“My journey of writing started when I was young. I loved reading newspapers, magazines and books. I have slept in the library several times.
“I was born as a stammer. I started to speak when I was five years old. Surprisingly, l am making a living through the gift of speaking.”
