JITI musician Baba Gweru, hip-hop artist Breezie Nukem and amapiano musician Yung Saint are preaching the power of love ahead of Valentine’s Day.

The three have collaborated on a Valentine’s Day song for lovers.

They told H-Metro this is the first time they have recorded a love song.

They believe their combination, which features different genres, will create a unique love tune.

Their new song, titled ‘Ganzawo Neni,’ will be released on February 13.

The artists said the song is specifically for Valentine’s Day.

Baba Gweru told H-Metro that he was also trying to help the two upcoming artists gain recognition in the industry.

“We took our time to record this great tune, celebrating those in love and not forgetting those still searching for love.

“The combination of jiti, amapiano and hip-hop will make a great tune, which is why we decided to try it.

“Featuring these two artists will help them grow faster as I am already a well-established artist.

“All I want is to help these two artists grow and be known like me.”

Breezie Nukem said the song motivates people in love to appreciate their partners rather than looking down on them.

“When one says they are in love, they should not be ashamed of the person they are dating but rather appreciate them.

“Love is a beautiful thing that needs to be appreciated.”

Yung Saint said:

“When you are in love, ‘dada nemunhu wako usamutarisire pasi.

“These ladies deserve to be loved and appreciated and the only way they can see the appreciation is by being given gifts and recognised on Valentine’s Day.”

The song has already sparked challenges on social media platforms.
