A 16 -months-old baby died in hospital on June 21, 2023, after falling into a plastic dish filled with boiling water that had been left unattended outside his house.
The case is under investigation.
Police confirmed the incident on their official Twitter handle, ”Police in Harare are investigating a sad incident in which a male infant (1 year 4 months) died on 21/06/23, whilst admitted at a local hospital, after jumping in a plastic dish filled with boiling water which had been left unattended outside the house by his mother in Waterfalls on 18/06/23,” read the tweet.
