Chickens coming to roost for Joey Antipas
Former Chicken Inn head coach Joey Antipas is set to retrace his footstepsA� to Gamecocks amid revelations the shrewd mentor has already agreed terms with the Gamecocks family.
Antipas, together with trusted lieutenant Prince Matore,A� left Chicken Inn mid way in 2016 after they were offered a job by South Africaa��s Absa Premiership side AmaZulu who were then playing in the National First Division League.
Gumboa��s contract with Chicken Inn runs out on 31 December.
Flickering ZPC Kariba seek Chitembwe connection
ZPC Kariba have reportedly agreed terms with Caps United coach Lloyd Chitembwe as the electricity men battle to revive their team in the 2018 season.
Chitembwe has a two-year contract with Makepekepe which expires at the end of the year and he is set to replace Sunday Chidzambwa as the boss at ZPC Kariba.
Chidzambwaa��s contract with ZPC Kariba runs out on December 31, and the club has decided against renewing the coacha��s contract as they have set their sights on Chitembwe, who won the Premier Soccer League title with Caps United last year.
Bosso look for DNA solutions in Madinda
Ex-Highlanders coach Madinda a�?Khathazilea�? Ndlovu could bounce back to the Bulawayo side next year after the executive engaged him to replace Dutchman Erol Akbay.
Earlier this year Akbay indicated that he was not going to renew his contract with Bosso which runs out at the end of this month.
Acting club chairman Modern Ngwenya reportedly revealed that Highlanders were alsoA� negotiating with Rahman Gumbo.
Ngwenya also said How Mine assistant coach Bekithemba Ndlovu and former assistant coach Amin Soma Phiri who was forced to resign on allegations of sabotaging outgoing coach Akbay were some of the coaches under consideration.
a�?At the moment they are just rumours and speculations but the truth of the matter is that we are still talking to some of our sons.
a�?We made it clear that we are going to appoint a former Highlanders son who will produce players with a Highlanders DNA,a�? Ngwenya was recently quoted as saying.
a�?We want to go back to the drawing board and promote people who really understand the Bosso culture. We want a coach who knows how it is to don the black and white jersey. We have Madinda and Rahman whom we are heavily engaging so that they can rebuild the team,a�? he added.
However, Ndlovu who has won a number of medals in Botswana before is the front runner to succeed Akbay.
The former is reported to have agreed some terms with the club. Gumbo on the other hand will be a free agent soon as his contract with Chicken Inn is coming to an end at the at the end of this month.
