Aaron Dube in Johannesburg South Africa
FORMER Highlanders striker Cleopas Dube has resumed training with his South Africa National First Division side Witbank Spurs.
Dube has been sidelined after complaining of blisters over the past few days.
He is expected to lead his team’s strike force in their next away game on Saturday against Baroka FC in Polokwane.
The gangly forward says their priority at the moment is to collect as many points as possible.
“The team’s injury free and the atmosphere in the team is electrifying even Peter Mubaiwa is back from injury and has already played a full game.
“Spurs have grown from strength to strength and the team still has a huge chance of winning the championship at the end of the season. All the players are happy and what’s good about our technical department is that they’ve told us not to put ourselves under any unnecessary pressure,” said Dube.
Spurs has Mubaiwa, a former Harare United midfielder who also captains the lower division side.
