MARIO Balotelli has fired a warning shot to Italy’s World Cup rivals by releasing a video on his Facebook page of a sparring session with a friend.
The controversial Italian looked in great shape as he toyed with his sparring partner and the former Manchester City striker looks fighting fit as he prepares to face England, Uruguay and Costa Rica in Group D.
In typical Mario style, the video takes an odd twist when it cuts away to a goat knocking over a mop before switching to some footage of a friend of Balotelli’s, who is fast asleep .
Balotelli has recently been linked with a sensational return to the Premier League with Arsenal and Liverpool both eyeing a move for the AC Milan star.
He is reportedly sick of the racism he suffers in his home country and is understood the former City star has realised life in England was not so bad after all.
Liverpool will move in for Balotelli if Luis Suarez is lured away to Real Madrid, although that is unlikely to happen if Suarez misses the World Cup through injury. – MailSport
