The country’s Special Presidential Investment Advisor to Bangladesh, Vietnam, and Thailand, Mr Elesh Patel paid a courtesy call on Vice President Kembo Mohadi at his Harare offices today.
The meeting focused on exploring potential investment collaboration between Zimbabwe and the three Asian nations.
This marks a step forward in Zimbabwe’s efforts to deepen international investment partnerships and diversify sources of foreign direct investment.

Speaking after the meeting, Mr Patel said there is growing interest from Southeast Asian investors seeking emerging markets with strong growth potential.
“We discussed the calibre of investors we plan to bring into Zimbabwe, covering manufacturing, mining, tourism, and specialised manufacturing, such as electric vehicles,” he said.
Mr Patel expressed optimism that these diplomatic and business exchanges will foster stronger bilateral ties and open new pathways for industrial and technological exchange.
