BATTLE OF THE PREACHERS INTENSIFIES AS MUPARINGA FILES A POLICE REPORT

RENOWNED evangelist, Trymore Muparinga, has filed a police report against his fellow preacher, Apostle Dickson Nhumwa, accusing him of cyberbullying.

Apostle Nhumwa recently posted a video on social media, accusing Evangelist Muparinga of allegedly misusing church offerings to seduce women and buy alcohol.

Evangelist Muparinga vehemently denied the allegations saying Nhumwa allegedly wanted a share of the funds he received from businessman Sir Wicknell Chivayo.

“I have never misused money for personal pleasures or to buy alcohol, as claimed,” said Evangelist Muparinga.

“We once worked together in ministry and he seemed to believe he was entitled to my earnings.

“He is simply a bitter man and this time I have decided to take the matter to the police.”

Evangelist Muparinga has engaged a lawyer to assist him with the case, noting that this is not the first time in which has been abused in the public.

In his video, Apostle Nhumwa reminisced about their time ministering together since 2007 along First Street, before he relocated to Masvingo.

He expressed concern over Evangelist Muparinga’s behaviour, suggesting that it has reached a point where he needs help from the broader Christian community.

“Mukomana (Muparinga), akunyanya kuti pese paaenda kunoparidza apihwa mari dzepa Altar odzishandisa kudhakwa ne kukecha,” Nhumwa claimed in the video.

Evangelist Muparinga, celebrated for his articulate teachings and Biblical interpretation, faced scrutiny in the past when a photograph of him holding a brown bottle of alcohol circulated within the Christian community.
