Bishop B Manjoro Dunamis
Last week we spoke of the Promise of the Father, the Holy Spirit, how much we need Him in order to succeed in life.
You see everything in life needs a little bit of oil or anointing. Without it, things get hard and difficult.
Today, I will share with you more on anointing, how you can function in it when the Spirit of God fills you, you get filled with the power and anointing of the Holy Ghost.
That anointing enables and empowers you to achieve much in life which you would not ordinarily or naturally get.
Like driving a car, it’s not easy to learn or understand it unless you actually get in the car and drive; it’s also very difficult to teach the anointing, but rather to have one experience it. As you read this article, I pray that you get in contact with the anointing and experience it in your life.
Let it make easy your finances, marriage, relationships, workplace, health, business and all that concerns you. Were you thinking of giving up or even taking away your life? Hold on. I have a good word for you; the anointing of the Holy Ghost is about to fill you and change that circumstance in your life in Jesus name.
Whatever you do, running a business, a tuckshop, selling vegetables or fruits, the anointing of the Holy Ghost will make it prosperous.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit of God gave them utterance.” Acts 2:4, “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
From the above scriptures we realise that the early church Christians were not filled with the Holy Ghost just once No. It’s not once and for all. You continuously get filled with the Holy Ghost. He is the source of the anointing and the success that comes with it.
Its effects can be as tangible as causing even the banana’s you sell to be bought very much. It does cause things to happen for you. Things miraculously work for you, when the anointing is working in your life.
You achieve things and success supernaturally and do not attempt to get supernatural things naturally — you need the anointing friend, you need it! Also bear in mind that the anointing is not just for pastors, it’s for all of us.
Even money needs to be anointed. When your money is not anointed it achieves nothing in life no matter how much it is. Many of you are struggling in life because you lack a little bit of oil.
You may have the degree but no anointing — unogwesha ukashaya mafuta muhupenyu (you struggle when you lack oil in life). Without the anointing you can buy peaches with the same money you were supposed to buy a bed. O hallelujah.
But with the anointing on your life with the same money someone will buy a bag of peaches, you will buy a bed, pillow cases and a bonus or give away of a cover bed with the same money!
O how I desire the anointing of the Holy Ghost on your life. You need it, you need it; you need it the oil of God on your life!
They are not just big things that can make you successful in life No, even the little things as selling vegetables can cause you to rise high in life. I know of two men who used to attend services and prayer meetings I led.
They started small in a vegetable business, but due to the grace and oil we are talking about, rose to great business people with one of the most thriving and leading vegetable company today.
Friend, you can do it, you can do it. Usanyare nezvaunoita (do not be ashamed with what you do), all you need is the anointing! O hallelujah!
By now you should be asking and wondering, “Ok bishop I heard about the anointing, but what do I need to do from here?” you asked well. First and foremost you need to believe that you can be filled with the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
You need to believe in your heart that I can get it, I can be filled. Where can you be filled? At church, at work, at home or even in your sleep you can be filled.
Have you not heard of how many get attacked spiritually in their sleep or a bad dream and wake up full of the Holy Ghost, shouting the name of Jesus or speaking in powerful tongues! O glory! I like the anointing. I like it, I like it, I like it.
The anointing is not limited to the church building or environment only; No. It can supersede all that and touch your family, heal your sick body, cancel your burdensome debt, drive away spells, charms, curses and bewitchments that torment and pursue your life. It can break all in Jesus name.
I know of some people who fear night time. It’s terrible for them. They get tortured in the night with things they can’t see. Some dream big snakes, scary people, or even small short dark people with beard (goblins) coming after them! God sent me with a word for you through this article friend!
All that is over in Jesus name let it be broken right now by the anointing of the Holy Ghost!
Another point to note, however, about the anointing is that it brings persecution. It attracts testing and challenges in your life. But you do not need to fear, No. Persecution can either make you bitter or better. Get better!
Do you want the anointing? Know that you are like someone looking for honey. Where there is honey, there are bees. Be ready to be bitten by challenges if you want the anointing. Persecution can bring the best or the worst out of you. Nyuchi dzichiruma, uchi ngatidye! (Despite being bitten by the bees, enjoy the honey).
I remember one such experience as a young man, when I went to get some honey from a tree. Before I even got to the honey I was bitten by the bees so much that I took to my heels, leaving my mother’s dish and father’s axe. When I got home without the honey or the dish and the axe, it was trouble, friend!
Mother was saying, “I want my dish”, father saying, “I want my axe!” O hallelujah don’t give up, don’t quit, don’t surrender, fight. When things get tough, the tough get going.
Later on I learnt and became good at getting honey, despite the bees! You can do it, you can have it. Have the right attitude, when you want the anointing in your life. For with God all things are possible, Mark 10:27.
