Miss International Zimbabwe, Yollanda Chimbarami, says she feels proud and responsible as she prepares to represent the country on the world stage.

The 26-year-old beauty queen who will represent the country at the global contest in November, in Tokyo, Japan, believes her journey is about showcasing Zimbabwe’s identity, spirit, and resilience.

“I no longer carry just my name. I carry the name of Zimbabwe. Every step I take, every stage I stand on, and every voice I raise is not for me alone, but for my country. With pride, responsibility, and unwavering purpose, I represent the spirit, resilience, and beauty of Zimbabwe to the world,” she said.

Beyond the pageant world, Chimbarami is a multi-talented artist and entrepreneur. As a model, she has worked alongside celebrated designers such as David Tlale and Danielle Allen. Her acting career spans notable films including Windfall, In Plain Sight, and The Day My Job Tried to Kill Me.

Her versatility also extends to voice acting, where she has contributed to Disney’s popular animated series Supa Strikas.
