A Ushewokunze man has been evicted by his landlady for allegedly committing bestiality with her dog.
A source told H-Metro that Energy Dube (45) was evicted by his landlady, only identified as Mai Musekiwa, after he was allegedly busted abusing the dog in his room.
“A local businessman at Major shops told me that Energy was violating the dog.
“I used to work with him, so I asked if it was true, but he has been denying it,” said the source.
A neighbour, Owen Chimbanda, said the landlady was always suspicious that something weird was going on.
“One Sunday the landlady wanted to feed her dog at around 10pm, but couldn’t find it.
“She went to Energy’s room to ask if he had seen the dog.
“She then saw her dog leaving his room.
“She evicted him and he wanted to take the dog to his new place but this was rejected by members of the community,” said Chimbanda.
However, Energy rubbished the bestiality accusations, saying he was a married man with five children.
“My wife lives in Sakubva and I stay here because I work as a mechanic.
“The dogs were used to me because I stayed there for close to six years, so they used to come to my room frequently.”
He said, on the day he was allegedly busted for bestiality, he had come home drunk.
“I came home drunk and cooked and, as usual, the dog came to my room.
“I fed the dog and later slept, leaving the dog in my room.
“I woke up when the landlady was calling the dog and it left.
“I am sure the landlady called her son because he phoned me an hour later saying I should move out immediately.
“They did not tell me why I was being evicted but I left and I now stay a few metres from my previous lodgings,” he said.
Asked about the bestiality incident, the landlady said:
“We only live as women here and we are afraid of him.
“He might look for a gang that will harass us.
“We are also afraid that the SPCA will come and take all my dogs away.”
