BEYONCE fans are being asked to bring along clothes for needy families when they go to her New Zealand concerts this week. Mobile donation centres will be set up at her Mrs Carter World Tour shows, as part of her #BeyGood campaign. Concert-goers who bring a donation will be in to win gifts from Beyonce, including #BeyGood T-shirts, autographed photos or possibly have their seats upgraded.
Charity Barnardos New Zealand has teamed up with Beyonce to set up the donation drive.
“We’re proud that Beyonce is using her platform to share the positive impact Barnardos has on local communities,” said Barnardos chief executive Jeff Sanders.
“We’re incredibly grateful for her support.”
Meanwhile, a Beyonce fan has shown his love for the singer and her husband Jay Z by photoshopping them into iconic art masterpieces on a Tumblr site.
The Carter Family Portrait Gallery, Tumblr page features the “Single Ladies” hitmaker, Jay-Z and daughter Blu Ivy, with the Destiny’s Child girls, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Nicki Minaj, the Beckhams, Rihanna, Oprah Winfrey and the Obamas in a fun twist to the iconic painting, The Last Supper, the Daily Star reported.
The page, which is made by one of the creative members of Beyonce’s Bey-hive tumblr page, features the 32-year-old singer as Mona Lisa, and American Gothic among many others. — Hindustan Times.
