Hot-on-the-heels of rumours that her husband‚ Jay Z‚ had been having an affair – Beyoncé dedicated the song Halo to him during a stage performance at her first Formation World Tour concert in Miami.
This comes after the surprise release of Lemonade‚ which set the Internet alight with rumours that that the award-winning singer had been having troubles in her marriage.
With lyrics such as “If you try this sh*t again / You gon’ lose your wife” and “He only want me when I’m not on there / He better call Becky with the good hair‚” many fans believed Beyoncé was levelling accusations of being cheated on.
Speaking to the audience during her show‚ the Single Ladies hit-maker supposedly doused the cheating allegations in a heartfelt dedication to Jay Z‚ before performing one of her hit tracks‚ Halo – whose lyrics describe a sublime love.
“I want to dedicate this song to my family‚” she said.
“Thank you guys for supporting me. I wanna dedicate this song to my beautiful husband. I love you so much. Blue‚ I love you so much.”
As if that was not enough, Beyonce walked the Met Gala red carpet alone without Jay Z or her wedding ring in sight on Monday. Instead, she showed off some other bling on her ring finger as she happily posed for photographers. – TimesLive/etonline
