A 31-YEAR-OLD Harare man fondled the breasts of his landlord’s 31-year-old daughter and bought her Zap Nax snacks to buy her silence, the court has heard.
Sam Mabvuto was facing charges of indecent assault when he appeared before magistrate Mr Elijah Makomo.
He will be back in court on April 20.
Allegations are that on April 2 at around 9pm, Monica Nyandoro was in the house with her child.
The court heard that Nyandoro went outside to relieve herself where she met Mabvuto who was on his way from a beer drink.
It is alleged that Mabvuto grabbed Nyandoro’s shoulders and begged her to be intimate with him which she declined.
Mabvuto, it is alleged, started fondling Nyandoro’s breasts without her consent.
Nyandoro tried to scream for help but she was slapped twice in the face by Mabvuto.
The court heard that after that Mabvuto ran to a nearby tuck-shop and bought two packets of Zap Nax snacks which he gave to Nyandoro in a bid to silence her.
It is alleged that Nyandoro refused to take the Zap Nax, but Mabvuto forcibly put them in her T-shirt.
Nyandoro allegedly screamed for help and was rescued by her child leading to Mabvuto’s arrest.
