Binga police launch manhunt for four suspects wanted for stock theft

POLICE in Binga are looking for four suspects in connection with a case of stock theft which occurred in Chitete Village Village, Lusulu in July.

In a statement, the police revealed that the suspects; Never Macheke, Bhudhiza Spondivi together with their accomplices identified as Sainjiba and Samakhabo stole four cows before selling them to Golden Siamajaya who was caught slaughtering one of the cattle at Sumuachemba village, Lusulu, Binga.

“Police in Binga are appealing for information which may assist in the arrest of Never Macheke, Bhudhiza Sphondivi and their accomplices identified as Sainjiba and Samakhabo. The suspects are being sought in connection with a case of stock theft which occurred at Chitete Village, Lusulu, Binga on 18 July 2024 where six cattle were stolen. The suspects sold the stolen cattle to Golden Siamajaya who was caught slaughtering one of the cattle at Simuachemba Village, Lusulu, Binga on 19 August,” reads the statement.

Anyone with information have been encouraged to report at any nearest Police Station
