WE all know and understand that foolish spending leads to empty pockets, and this is exactly what happened to this other dude who is now selling airtime in the Central Business District (CBD).
This bozo made a fortune during those days when many people made money from the precious stones that were being sourced from that other area known for this other apostolic church.
The gods indeed smiled on him!
At some point, he had a fleet of nice cars and kombis that also earned him money through the local public transport business he was running at the time.
Those close to him will tell you how many of his kombis were actually hired by this other big firm to provide transport for the company’s employees to and from work.
At this point, Yours Truly thought the boy had a progressive mind-set, given how he had managed to invest in a business that would take care of him when sources of income dried up.
Alas, we now know this bozo is such a big fool, and who does not know the short-lived companionship that has always existed between a fool and his money.
Blabber was not aware that all along this chap was busy spending on women of loose morals in and around our beautiful city.
He has a weakness for sweetness, they would say. Some say he wasted his money on sports betting.
As we speak, the bozo is now struggling to get public transport money to go back home after a hard day’s work selling airtime on the verandas of city supermarkets.
He usually sells airtime near that other supermarket right at the city centre that is known by a brand that is found in many countries.
By now, all this poverty must have taught him, and all those who know him, that money does not grow on trees.
When you get it, spend it wisely, being mindful of the rainy day.
For those who could be struggling to make head or tail of the identity of this dude, his first name is a common male vernacular name that can simply be translated to mean power or energy. His surname is similar to the name of a certain local driving school.
If you know, you know!
