BLABBERMOUTH: Spare a thought for this widow

 

BLABBER wanted to devote acres of space to narrate the ugly events witnessed at this other entertainment gathering held during the weekend.

 

I mean that other gig meant for the fairer sex.

 

Yours Truly was shocked to see some fierce clashes between married women and their husbands’ small houses at the well-attended gig.

Gentle reader, we used to hear about it, but during the weekend, we witnessed it with our own eyes that hell hath no fury like a scorned woman.

 

Blabber will surely take time to let you know the identity of some of the women involved in the scuffles.

The reason behind shelving this issue this week is due to the fact that there is a more serious matter that deserves our attention, as God-fearing people of our beloved city.

We all know this other late businessman who was very popular when he was still in our midst. Quiet, jolly, good fella, who interacted with anyone and everyone at any given time, as he never looked down upon anyone.

The family had businesses all over.

Many on us will recall the good times that we had with the late businessman at his night spot in that other suburb, whose name has something to do with water.

Who does not remember the jewellery that he used to wear, and that beaming ear-to-ear smile he used to greet people with.

Blabber will not talk about his love for smoke. Sadly, word reaching Yours Truly is that his relatives are harassing his widow day-in, day-out.

 

They are actually making sure that she is left with virtually nothing to her name, yet she also made immense contributions during her deceased husband’s lifetime.

So heartless are the relatives that they want everything and anything that the couple used to own, including a small piece of farming land.

 

As if that was enough, these blood-sucking and good-for-nothing so-called relatives, are turning his children against their own mother.

May God forbid! We all thought this departed gentleman would rest in peace, but not when his widow is being traumatised by his relatives like this.

 

Be that as it may, since this is an issue that is now before the courts, Blabber will surely go out of his way to give you, gentle reader, the blow-by-blow account of the real life drama.
