Black Mambas awards ceremony postponed

available for the show.
The ceremony was postponed last year after officials felt they could not hold a party in the week Zimbabwean football was mourning Adam Ndlovu.

The police outfit, who escaped relegation in the final stages of the championship race, were expected to honour outstanding players who helped the team to avoid the chop.

Warumwa Warumwa had to wait until the final day of the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League programme to know their fate.

Fortunately, they managed to beat FC Platinum 4-2 to see off a determined Gunners, who lost out on goal difference despite beating Chicken Inn 2-0 on the final day.

The two teams shared the same goal difference but Mambas survived by virtue of scoring more goals.
Had Gunners scored one goal more or had Mambas scored one goal less, on that final day, the whole picture would have changed dramatically.
Mambas enjoyed a good relationship with BancABC who were the club’s principal sponsors.
