AWARD-WINNING gospel musician Blessing Shumba is ready to roar with another new offering – barely two months after his latest release.
In an interview yesterday, the Holy Psalms Band frontman said he is putting some final touches to the song “Mashura Chaiwo”, which is set for release at the end of this week.
The track comes hot on the heels of “Tenda”, which was released last month and is already enjoying generous air play on various platforms.
“We are working on our latest song titled “Mashura Chaiwo” and it is almost ready. Shumba said the theme for “Mashura Chaiwo” revolves around the need for Christians to remain prepared for Christ’s Second Coming.
“Jesus is coming back to Earth after His ascension to Heaven. We must all be ready for that Second Coming of the Messiah. Already, we are living in an age whose signs of the times are showing that we have deviated from the righteous path.
“As Christians, we must live according to the Lord’s ways. Through music with a message, the Holy Psalms band will continue preaching the good news of God’s grace and salvation in order to prepare for His Son’s Second Coming.”
