HIP-HOP artist Bling 4’s camp has revealed he is working on his debut album that will cover issues from religion to social issues.
Tilted “Hosanna,” the album is set to be launched on April 12 at the Aquatic Complex Chitungwiza.
The album is a follow-up of his Extended Play “Ghetto Yut,” which was released last year.
Hosanna will have 10 songs and half will be collaborations.
“It’s actually the first album, it’s a follow-up on the EP. It will house up to 10 solid tracks, 50 percent features collabos and the other 50 percent are songs by him alone.
“The album is so unique and is set to introduce Bling4 into the mainstream and break the genre barrier, the songs carry a vibrant and versatile sound while maintaining the original Bling4 sound.
“The message covers all aspects of mankind from religion, ghetto and social stories as well as love and party topics,” he said.
Bling4’s experiences growing up in the ghetto and navigating failed relationships have influenced his music, reflecting the harsh realities faced by Zimbabwean youths.
Songs like “Ndozviripo,” “Zviri Paground,” “Nhamo Dzangu,” and “Munhu Wenyama” provide social commentary on these struggles.
“Hausi Bharanzi” stands out as a breakthrough track, propelling Bling4 into the spotlight within the Zim hip-hop scene and local showbiz industry.
