BARELY a week after Godwin Simbarashe Mhaka made the country proud by coming out second in the 2022 World Fitness Federation, World Olympiad in Indonesia, local body-builders will this Saturday turn their attention to the country’s flagship contest — the Zimbabwe Nationals — formerly Mr and Ms Zimbabwe.
Mhaka a multiple international winner came shot at the World Championship event in the Paradise of Lombok Indonesia last Saturday.
The seasoned fitness hulk was sponsored by Musabvunda for his adventure and is expected back in the country on Friday.
Registration for the Zimbabwe National entries will begin on Friday at Africa Synod House corner Simon Muzenda Street (previously Fourth Street) and Selous Avenue.
The National Federation of Zimbabwe Body-building and Fitness are already preparing for the event which has seen several partners coming on board.
Already pro-fitness and Health Club has come on to sponsor Zimbabwe Nationals Men’s Physique over 176cm division.
Also to come on board was AG Petroleum who will cater for the Wheelchair Body-building Division.
