Youthful revolutionary music group Born Free Crew has released a single in honour of President Mugabe and First Lady, Amai Grace Mugabe.
Titled “Kumberi Kwekumberi” the song hails the President and the first lady for the work they have been doing and are still doing for the country.
The group, fronted by duo DJ Anusa Dulana and Bruce Machingura, said they felt obliged to honour the President and First Lady for their work. They said the President has done everything in his power to maintain peace and stability in this country, so has the First Lady.
“It is not a secret that the President has managed to make sure that the country remains a peaceful nation and also that he has helped a lot of people from vulnerable children who could not pay their fees through the presidential scholarships on the other hand Amai has contributed a lot to the lives of many Zimbabweans. She also takes care of orphans at her children’s home and the list of the things the First Family has done is endless and we feel we have to honour them in any way we can,” said Bruce.
Born Free Crew is well-known for the hit “Get Connected”.
They have three albums and a number of music videos, most of which salute the President for his outstanding achievements.
